We Saw the Devil is a true crime podcast hosted by Robin Coleman: a woman with a microphone, way too many court documents, and a lot of opinions about how these cases get handled.

If you want a cozy murder recap to fall asleep to, there are roughly four thousand other shows for that, and honestly some of them are fine. This one’s going to keep you up. Robin reads the filings, the depositions, and the police reports so she can tell you what actually happened. Then she gets loud about the parts nobody wants to talk about, like why the department sat on three domestic violence calls, or how the guy with the expensive lawyer walked away with a plea deal and the case just sort of evaporated.

She doesn’t do the “who’s to say?” thing when the evidence already said it. And she’s not going to pretend both sides have a fair argument when one of them got caught on camera.
